summer ended sofast omg i have lots of pretty beach pictures to post and new outfits from cali to show you if i can just figure out the best way to post pix on here...i think safari and blogger are not getting along at least in the upload dept. cuz they always freeze when i am in the middle of uploading...blah....i thought i was supposed to have a person do this for me???

anyway plane ride back to JFK was uneventful i chilled and napped in my brand new black hoodie with a pink playboy logo on the back. i heart it. the dudes that sit outside the stores on amsterdam said i was gangsta when i walked by them the other day wearing my new hoodie. hahaha...my mom ain't even gangsta but i am! new york has been a whole lot of boring since i returned. mom's been sick so we haven't gone shopping anywhere interesting (except Trixie & Peanut where I got a SLAMMIN new bag. SO CHIC and snuggly! undercover snuggler!).

i debuted a new dress at the AKC dog event in Madison Square Park. This one's custom made, kinda a-line tank dress, all white with blue embroidered floral and a lacey trim on the skirt. i'm trying to decide if a string of faux pearls around the front half of the neckline would be too much....ill post pix soon! promise!

other than the AKC fair life has been totally boring and now raining so i hope some trouble in the form of a sample sale or something comes my way soon.

i did get blessed by a buddhist nun today in the flower garden at riverside park. that was totally awesome. made me miss LA. i am trying to decide if i should throw my bday party in LA or NY btw....we have til january to figure this out. any thoughts??

OMG wait i forgot to tell y'all, there IS a sample sale this weekend at Trixie & Peanut! At least according to the semi-new salesgirl who sold me my bag. she was supernice but a little frazzled, i guess between me and mommy we are a bit hard to please. anyway she said the sample sale is this weekend like TOMORROW til Sunday all on summer stuff so go get into trouble for me! I'll see you there if I'm not at Mood or something looking for fabric for my Chilloween costume. XOXOX GG

I've been watching The Girls Next Door on E! and I don't understand why Bridget's dog Wednesday is such a hit. Just because she can lift a paw or two on command, she gets an agent and then a Hello Kitty commercial? I could totally do that ... if I wanted. My owner says Wednesday is cute (Hello! She's a Pekingese! She looks like an alien!) but that I'm cuter (that's better). She also says that I could learn to do all that stuff that Wednesday does. I have a strict policy against hard work or anything that interferes with my lounging schedule but getting paid to look cute doesn't look hard at all. I suppose I could stand to add a few tricks to my aresnal of cuteness if it leads to more attention and treats. I hate to be the only dog in the playgroup without head shots and a resume.

Prima Dog Event

OMG I just went to the cutest store ever! It's called Prima Dog on E. 59th St. They have the most adorable things! Tons of candy and cupcake plushies, I Love NY tees, every kind of dress from sparkly to casual...I want it all!! We went to meet Jonathan from Groomer Has It (on Animal Planet). He's launching a new line of doggy shampoo and conditioner that smells soo yummy. I begged for some and I don't even like baths! LOL.

On the way home we stopped at Bloomingdales and I checked out the Juicy for Dogs merch. Yawn.....I'd rather wear Chanel, if only it came in my size. See by Chloe is pretty cool too....

I like the east side. Not one person called me a rat and I didn't hear any cries of "Taco Bell" until we hit the park, where it was tourist madness. I'd hate further on tourists for crowding my sidewalk, but several of them did stop and take my picture, which was nice.

I'm officially on a diet now. YUCK! Whose idea is this? I'm pretty small, I don't think extra kibble will keep me from fitting into dog clothes, but my pleas for more have gone unheard. My person says I used to eat as much as I wanted without gaining a pound but ever since I got spayed it's all gone straight to my hips. Whatevs. Also started walking like 100x more than I used to. Walking totally cramps my style. I bet Tinkerbell never has to walk. I never thought I'd say this but even that tacky pleather shoulder bag that I sometimes ride in would be preferable to all this exercise. Obviously a car service would be ideal but I'm willing to compromise.

Missing Mimi

I am so sad to hear that one of my top idols, the fabulous pug Mimi La Rue, has passed away. Mimi was the epitome of style for all the four-legged aspiring glamour girls out there. She loved pink, bling, and couture, preferably all three at once. She was never hesitant to step on a red carpet or command a camera crew. She reigned over Hollywood's pets, often via the pages of US Weekly. My favorite memory of Mimi was when her mommy Tori Spelling dressed her up as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz for Halloween. I also loved watching her on So Notorious and her mommy's reality show. She had so many great adventures on TV but she always evaded trouble by flashing her puppy-eyed angelic grin. Mimi had more personality in her left ear than all of Paris Hilton's pooches combined and she will be very sorely missed.

Hello lovers, fans and friends. It's been a week since my surgery and I'm finally starting to feel better. Coming off anesthesia totally messed with my head. I've never done acid but I was definitely tripping when I got home from the vet. Luckily it wore off over the next 24 hours and I was able to eat and drink a bit. I still can't get wet or run up stairs but that's fine with me considering I hate baths and prefer to be carried. Anyway I'm back to my busy schedule of shopping, napping, and chilling out. I even made it to Saks to check out the sale (unfortunately they ran out of that Juicy dog bag I really want). Over the weekend I watched the Lakers beat the Celtics. I am watching Game 6 of the NBA finals now and it's heartbreaking. Lakers down 41 pts! In the 4th quarter! And I was so looking forward to rocking my Lakers jersey and varsity jacket around town in celebration of a win. Life is cruel sometimes. I think I need a nap.
